At a Phillies vs. Mets game, 80-year-old Donna Morey received a heartwarming birthday surprise from a young fan she had never met.

Jameson Pennings, just 9 years old, caught his first foul ball and chose to gift it to Donna after learning it was her birthday wish.

“I was really absolutely amazed because he overheard my daughter talk to the ball girl about next foul would she consider giving it to me for my birthday. All of a sudden, this boy says to his dad, ‘I want to give that lady my ball,’ and his father says, ‘Are you sure about this,’ and the little boy looked at the ball in his glove and says yeah. They got up from their seat, came right over to me and handed me the ball.”

Donna’s dream of finally bringing home a foul ball came true, making her birthday unforgettable.

Jameson’s dad celebrated the moment in a touching Facebook post, sharing how proud he was of his son’s generous spirit, and Ball Girl Emily surprised Jameson with another ball before the game ended.

“Me being his mom makes me kind of emotional because, oh my God, we’re doing something right and everybody saw it,” Eve, Jameson’s mom, shared.

This heartfelt gesture turned an ordinary game into a memorable experience, highlighting the joy of giving and receiving.
