  • A tiny Pomeranian named Daisy becomes a viral sensation on a flight.
  • The video sparks a lively debate about pets versus children on airplanes.
  • Viewers express their thoughts on travel etiquette for both fur and human babies.

A delightful TikTok video featuring a small Pomeranian named Daisy has taken the internet by storm, gathering over 5.3 million views and 1.3 million likes since it was posted on January 3.

Daisy, calmly nestled in a carrier bag under an airplane seat, has captivated viewers and sparked an engaging discussion about the presence of pets on flights.

The video, shared by Daisy’s owner under the handle @pomprincessdaisy, includes a text overlay stating, “Dogs should not be allowed on planes they disturb the passengers.”

However, the playful caption suggests otherwise: “Yet I am the one that has to stay in a bag under a seat. Disrespectful to say the least. I hope my mom can afford that dog jet one day.”

As Daisy sat quietly, the background noise of crying children added an interesting layer to the conversation in the comments section.

Many viewers chimed in, advocating for less restrictive policies on pets in the air, suggesting that dogs like Daisy do not disturb other passengers.

One viewer humorously noted, “I cannot stand children crying on a plane,” and suggested, “Please shove the iPad in their face so they stop.”

Another comment proposed, “That’s why there should be flights strictly for only adults [because] if I had to listen to that for hours on end I would start screaming after five hours.”

A different perspective was shared by another viewer, who remarked, “And how kids are supposed to travel, OK it is really disturbing but they are just babies, we were also babies, in my opinion pets should also be allowed to travel on planes.”

Yet another viewer commented on the fairness of travel, saying, “This is the reason I will not take my children on a [flight] until they are older. Not fair on them or everyone else around us.”

One comment humorously pointed out the irony of pet rent, stating, “Same with pet rent. So I have to pay extra for rent because I have a dog that sleeps all day, but my neighbor with their demon toddler does [not] have to pay an extra fee. Toddlers can be destructive too.”

Daisy’s owner joined the conversation, expressing, “I would say 99 percent of the time that is true! And most of the time it is not even a tantrum its just that their ears hurt like crazy from the pressure. I just want equal rights for fur and human babies.”
