When a fifteen-year-old girl named Bianca Mitchell-Avila faced toxic online comments about her passion for chess, the actor stepped in to champion her vision.

Inspired to create a documentary about women in the game, Bianca shared her idea with Reeves in 2021.

The actor, who played on his own high school chess team, immediately signed on as an executive producer to help bring the project to life.
