Quick Smiles:

  • Aubrey, just 22 months old, passed her second lifesaving swim test
  • Swim lessons began at just seven months for safety and confidence
  • Her family feels peace of mind knowing Aubrey’s water skills

Learning to swim from an early age equips children with a crucial safety skill, and for little Aubrey in Florida, these lessons may one day make all the difference.

With water everywhere, her mom, Judine Mullen, chose infant swim sessions focusing on drowning prevention, starting when Aubrey was just seven months old.

According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, many children begin lessons around their first birthday. During early tests, instructors teach children to safely get their heads above water, float on their backs, and reach the pool’s edge—even while wearing everyday clothes, simulating a real-life scenario.

By 22 months, Aubrey tackled her second test with confidence, making her family proud and providing them with lasting reassurance.

As Judine and her husband await their second child, they appreciate the peace of mind that comes with knowing Aubrey is prepared. Both hands-on parents, Judine is also known for her accomplishments as a chef, breast cancer survivor, and digital content creator.

Aubrey’s water skills offer comfort and a bright example for other families aiming to keep their little ones safe.
