Jessica Kinsey, a Sacramento resident, has been reunited with her beloved cat, Lily, who went missing nearly 6 years ago.
Despite moving homes, Kinsey routinely checked local shelters and social media for lost animals.
Last month, a stray cat was brought to the Sacramento SPCA and was identified as Lily thanks to her microchip.
Kinsey was overjoyed to be reunited with Lily at the shelter, and Lily recognized her owner right away.
