Senior’s Epic Plunge Into Rope Swinging Redefines Courage

At 78 years old, Barbara recently proved that it is never too late for a thrill-seeking adventure. She took a fearless leap from a 500-foot desert cliff in Moab, Utah, marking her first experience with rope swinging.
Hanging between two massive red rock walls, the attraction is known as the longest rope swing in the United States. Following her jump, Barbara swung like a giant pendulum before being safely hauled back to the summit.
