Sneaky dog rummages through Christmas presents and instantly unwraps hers

• Hemi knows just how much her family loves her, so she realized that there must be a Christmas present waiting for her.
• So she sneaked into the presents’ location, searched for hers, and immediately unwrapped it.
• She tried her best to hide the toy as long as she can, but the toy’s squeaker gave her away!

Hemi is very well-loved by her family, who can’t help but spoil her.

So when she saw a room full of Christmas presents, she couldn’t help but find out which one is hers.

Hemi sneakily found her way into the presents’ location and started searching for hers.

Hemi’s mom, Kim Hutchinson, told The Dodo, “The presents were hidden in our room covered with our kids’ presents in the corner. She would [have] had to go through quite a lot to get to hers.”

Hemi quickly figured out which one was hers — even though all the presents were wrapped!

She then decided that she couldn’t wait for Christmas and instantly unwrapped it. To avoid getting caught by her family, she tried to hide it — but the toy had a squeaker that gave her away!

Kim shared that they “heard something come from the other side of the house.” After following the sound, they “found Hemi with the toy in her mouth at the bedroom door.”

Her family didn’t even feel mad at her. They were more impressed that Hemi figured out which of the presents were hers.

Hemi may have been naughty, so she made sure she would be her own Santa!

Kim shared that Hemi usually shows off her new toys, but tried her best to hide the new one to avoid getting caught. But after they caught her, “she wanted everyone to play with it, she would throw it at everyone and squeeze it … She didn’t seem too ashamed, we all couldn’t stop laughing at the fact she found the toy.” 

Hemi’s naughty, smart, and adorable personality only makes her more beloved by her family, and she definitely knows it!
