Life with a spirited toddler can be full of surprises, as Keith and Marquita Dumas know well. When Keith dozed off next to little Kinley, she found the jumbo jar of Vaseline and decided to get creative.

Marquita walked in to find Kinley calmly covered in petroleum jelly, legs and face shining, while Keith slept soundly. She tried waking him, calling his name louder each time, until Kinley hushed her with a sweet, “Shhhhh.”

Once Keith finally woke up, he couldn’t help but chuckle at the sight. Apparently, this isn’t the first time Kinley’s curiosity has let loose—she’s also gotten into the powder during past naps.
