Bristy Potter wasn’t thinking about adopting when she brought young Ginny along to the shelter, but now she couldn’t deny the bond the two shared!

A shelter worker even told them that the cat hadn’t been that energetic ever since she was separated from her litter of kittens. But the cat instantly lit up in Ginny’s presence!

The mother and daughter sadly had to return home, but Bristy already hatched “Operation Convince My Husband.”

It was a successful operation — and just in time for Christmas!

Bristy made several more visits to the shelter to fulfill the paperwork. Within a week, the process was complete. She showed the sweet cat in the crate once more, unaware that she was already marked as “adopted” and ready to go to her new home.
