  • Bad Bunny will perform at the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show.
  • Jay-Z personally selected Bad Bunny as the headliner at Levi’s Stadium.
  • This milestone event will light up the Bay Area on February 8, 2026.

Music fans have a major reason to look forward to 2026, as Bad Bunny has been chosen for the Super Bowl halftime show at Levi’s Stadium in California.

Apple Music announced the Puerto Rican superstar’s exciting performance, sharing the news on September 28.

"Super Bowl LX. Bay Area. February 2026. #AppleMusicHalftime," read a celebratory post on the rapper’s Instagram.

Following Kendrick Lamar’s crowd-pleasing appearance earlier this year, Bad Bunny takes the stage for the landmark 60th Super Bowl.

This will be Levi’s Stadium’s second time hosting the iconic sporting event’s halftime show since Coldplay headlined in 2016.

The announcement follows Bad Bunny’s grand finale concert in Puerto Rico, which was streamed live globally.

The talented performer is also set to host the premiere of “Saturday Night Live” Season 51.

Jay-Z, who has led the headliner selection since 2019, personally picked Bad Bunny for this special event.

“In the end, it’s only one person who makes that decision: Jay-Z,”

shared Apple Music’s Zane Lowe during a broadcast last year.

Jesse Collins, executive producer of the halftime show, affirmed, “It’s a decision that Jay makes.”

Fans everywhere are buzzing with anticipation for Bad Bunny’s milestone Super Bowl performance as he continues to break barriers in music and entertainment.
