President Joe Biden has started a new phase of treatment for prostate cancer, including radiation and hormone therapy, with a hopeful outlook.
The five-week radiation treatment marks an important step in his journey to manage the illness.
Recently, Biden, 82, underwent Mohs surgery for skin cancer, and his doctor confirmed, “all cancerous tissue was successfully removed” and “no further treatment is required.”
Biden first announced his diagnosis with an aggressive form of prostate cancer in May, and his team remains focused on effective management.
In a heartfelt message, Biden shared, “Cancer touches us all. Like so many of you, Jill and I have learned that we are strongest in the broken places. Thank you for lifting us up with love and support.”
His office reports he is “doing well,” and he continues to approach his health journey with resilience and gratitude.
