A magical portrait of a Maasai giraffe silently drinking under the night sky in southern Kenya is enchanting wildlife lovers and conservationists alike.

Photographer Gurcharan Roopra shared,

“Every movement was slow and deliberate. Photographing this moment meant waiting in silence, working in near-total darkness. With a long exposure and just a flicker of light, I captured the graceful arc of motion as it drank – a fleeting, almost mythical scene. One frame. One breath.”

The photo, titled A Brushstroke of Gold, is among over 200 images included in Edition Hope, the latest sale from Prints for Wildlife.

This global fundraiser unites renowned and emerging nature photographers, with all proceeds going to Conservation International to support biodiversity and local communities.

Since its inception in 2020, the sale has generated over £1.6 million for conservation efforts worldwide.

Each limited-edition print is available for £100, providing art lovers and supporters a unique way to give back to nature for a limited time.
