Ahmed al-Ahmed, a 43-year-old fruit shop owner, courageously stepped in to help disarm an attacker during a crisis at Bondi Beach, risking his own safety for others.

He underwent surgery after being injured and is now recovering at Sydney’s St. George Hospital, while his heroic act has touched hearts around the globe.

A fundraiser created to support Ahmed has already surpassed $1.4 million, fueled by over 24,000 individual donations and countless messages of gratitude.
