In a remarkable display of kindness, a local resident in Indiana came to the rescue of two baby girls left abandoned in a ditch.

This incident unfolded after the vehicle they were in was stolen, causing immediate concern for their safety.

The Indianapolis police swiftly alerted the public about the theft of a silver Hyundai Sonata.

Inside the stolen car were a four-month-old and a five-month-old girl.

Remarkably, just 20 minutes after the police’s social media alert, the babies were found safe and sound.

The good Samaritan, who prefers to remain unnamed, stumbled upon the infants while retrieving a package outside his home.

Coincidentally, this act of heroism happened on his birthday.

He discovered the babies left in their car seats, exposed to the chilly weather, and promptly brought them indoors to call 911.

Police confirmed that these were indeed the missing infants from the stolen vehicle.

The car was later located not far from where the babies were found, on the 1300 block of Riley Avenue.

Police spokesman William Young expressed his deep gratitude, stating, “It’s cold out here. Who knows what would have happened if this particular individual hadn’t gone outside?”

The investigation into the car theft continues, with no arrests made at this time.
