  • The special Barbie and Townhouse set is available for pre-order, sparking joy for fans of all ages.

Joanna Gaines, known for her creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, now has her own Barbie doll designed in collaboration with Mattel. The doll’s look was inspired by Gaines’ childhood favorites, featuring dark hair, stylish sunglasses, a fun graphic tee, flare jeans, flannel, and even roller skates.

“Six-year-old Jo Jo would be losing her mind,” Gaines shared in her announcement post.

Her appreciation for ‘70s fashion shined through, highlighting her connection to the era she was born in and still loves today. Gaines also reflected on rollerskating, her childhood passion, saying it made her feel “like I could be or do anything.”

The doll comes with a custom Hearth & Hand with Magnolia Townhouse, echoing retro elements and cozy touches, like mid-century breezeblock and a playful pink-and-white theme. Kids are encouraged to unleash their creativity using removable stickers and home accessories included in the set.

“This way, kids can tap into their own well of creativity and personal feeling of home as they build out these spaces,” she remarked.

Now displayed in her office, the Barbie serves as a daily reminder to embrace curiosity and possibility at any age. Joanna Gaines’ Barbie and Townhouse set is currently available for pre-order and arrives in stores December 7.
