Jon Bon Jovi is preparing for a joyful return to touring after overcoming a major vocal cord surgery. His recovery journey was filled with determination, daily rehearsals, and support from both family and fans.

“Bon Jovi is going back out on tour starting right here next summer at Madison Square Garden,” Savannah Guthrie announced during their interview at the iconic venue.

The upcoming “Forever Tour” will begin in July 2026, featuring multiple shows in New York and across Europe.

Bon Jovi shared that he only agreed to the tour once he felt fully confident in his ability to perform night after night.

“I think I can confidently say that I can go and do my two and a half hours night after night after night. But I wouldn’t do it unless it was that.”

His surgery in 2022 was necessary due to atrophying in one of his vocal cords after years of demanding performances.

“The road has been long. It’s been tough. But I persevered,” he said about the rehabilitation process.

Bon Jovi described his recovery as similar to marathon training, requiring physical, mental, and spiritual commitment.

“Anyone can go for a run. Being able to go the distance is a whole different set of commitment. You have to physically, mentally and spiritually be ready to do that again.”

Despite doubts, Jon Bon Jovi’s passion for performing and the joy it brings keep him motivated.

“If you couldn’t do it from a place of joy, what’s the motivation?”

The “Forever Tour” will also feature new collaborations from the “Forever (Legendary Edition)” album, and fans might witness surprise appearances from artists like Bruce Springsteen and Lainey Wilson.
