Kristen Bell Returns to Host Actor Awards

Kristen Bell is set to once again bring her warmth and humor to the 2026 Actor Awards, formerly known as the SAG Awards, on Sunday, March 1. This marks her third time as host, making her a familiar and much-loved face for the annual celebration.

“I’ve enjoyed hosting the show every time, so it was an easy decision to come back for a third,” Bell shared in a statement.

Audiences can look forward to Bell’s signature charm—and possibly even a musical performance, as she hinted at doing what actors do best: sing. The show will stream live from the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Netflix.

Showrunner Jon Brockett expressed his excitement, saying, “Kristen Bell knows this show, she knows this community and she knows how to keep everyone entertained and laughing without ever losing the heart of the night.”

This year, Hollywood legend Harrison Ford will be honored with the revered SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award.

Leading the list of nominees are “One Battle After Another” with seven nominations and “Sinners” with five. Among the talented stars, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael B. Jordan, Ethan Hawke, Jesse Plemons, and Timothée Chalamet compete for outstanding performance by a male actor in a leading role.

Emma Stone, Jessie Buckley, Rose Byrne, Kate Hudson, and Chase Infiniti have all been nominated for outstanding performance by a female actor in a leading role, guaranteeing an exciting awards night.
