His owners, Marcela and Robbie, intended only to buy mini tennis balls, but Archie had other plans when he found a basket-shaped pet bed too enticing to ignore.

Without a second thought, Archie leapt straight into the cozy bed and refused to budge, amusing his owners and nearby shoppers alike.

“Part of me couldn’t believe how goofy he was being, but another part of me wasn’t surprised at all. He’s usually quite cheeky, so for him to get infatuated with a bed and decide to go out of his way to be inside of it wasn’t really surprising,” Marcela shared.

“At the end of the day, though, we couldn’t stop laughing, and we got a few laughs from other clients who walked past us when the whole ordeal was taking place,” Marcela said.

The best part? The bed matched perfectly with their living-room decor, making everyone happy with the purchase.

“We hear about viral videos every day, but it’s a whole other story when it happens to you,” she reflected. “I had to silence the notifications on my phone because it was almost blowing up with the amount of likes and comments. It just felt surreal; a bit overwhelming, too, because I wasn’t sure what I was supposed to do about it.”
