A delightful boxer named Poppy has captured the internet’s affection with her nightly routine.

As soon as her owner says, “Come on,” Poppy eagerly gets herself comfortable, waiting to be tucked in.

Vanessa Nelson, Poppy’s owner from Connecticut, shared that Poppy was born on a Pennsylvania farm on Christmas Day six years ago.

Vanessa picked her up during college because she needed a friend.

“She has been with me ever since, through my college degree, through moving to my first apartment, and all my big milestones so far in my life,” Vanessa said.

“Two of her favorite things are going to [beauty store] Sephora with me and getting pup cups from Starbucks.”

“She loves to take naps and cry until she gets everything she wants.”

“Another thing she loves is cuddling in bed with her daddy and me watching shows.”

According to the American Kennel Club (AKC), nearly half of all dog owners share their bed or bedroom with their pets.

The AKC notes that co-sleeping with dogs has many benefits and is “nothing to be ashamed of.”

However, they also mention some health concerns, such as the potential to aggravate human allergies and the rare risk of disease transmission.
