Isabelle Tate, a talented young actress who appeared on “9-1-1: Nashville,” passed away peacefully at age 23. Her agency celebrated her spirit and the joy she found in returning to acting, remembering her fondly as someone who embraced every opportunity.

“Isabelle ‘Izzy’ Tate had a rare form of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. She passed away peacefully on the 19th of October. The family requests privacy as they deal with this sudden and shocking loss,” the McCray Agency shared.

She was known for her passion for acting and music, and had recently found success in her career.

Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease is a group of inherited conditions that affect the nerves outside the brain and spinal cord, usually impacting muscle control and sensation, especially in the arms and legs. According to experts, while CMT is lifelong and sometimes severe, it is usually manageable and does not typically pose a danger to life.

Symptoms often begin in the teenage or young adult years and can include weakness, numbness, and changes in how someone moves or feels sensations. Each person’s experience can vary, with symptoms developing gradually over time.

Treatment options help manage symptoms and often include physical therapy, assistive devices, and medication. Support from loved ones and medical experts can make a significant difference for those affected.

We celebrate Isabelle’s achievements and offer heartfelt support to her family and all touched by her bright presence.
