Stray Cat That Looks Angry All The Time Is A Sweetheart

  • Behind the grumpy-looking cat stray cat’s exterior is a loving, sweet cat.
  • From a skinny, flea-bitten stray, he was brought to a rescue center where he was named Giggles.
  • He has since shown his foster parents his gratitude by being the sweetest loving cat.

For that’s just his face.  Underneath that grumpy exterior is a really sweet cat wanting to be loved.

Riggi Rescue’s head foster mom Melanie Anielski said, “When he first came in, we had gotten some pictures of him, and he just looked so grumpy. I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, is he nice?’ and she was like, ‘Oh yeah, he’s super friendly.’ That’s just his face. It doesn’t really matter if he’s happy or content — he’s never really angry — he’s just always looking at you with that little scowl and you can’t help but giggle when you look at him.”

She here refers to the Good Samaritan who wanted to help the cat and brought the skinny, flea-bitten, grumpy-looking tabby stray to the rescue.  He looked like he had been living outside for a while and was just hanging around her house.

At the rescue center, he was given the name Giggles and he shows his foster parents how grateful he is to be in a home again.

Anielski said, “His demeanor is very chill. He’s super laid-back, he loves to plop down next to you wherever you’re sitting, wants you to scratch his belly. So he’s really, really loving.”

They waited for someone to claim him before posting his photos on their Facebook page for adoption.  Little did they know that Giggles would create ripples all over the world as requests to adopt him came flooding in.

Anielski said, “We were really surprised because we’re just a little group of people who love cats, and now one of our cats is Insta-famous. It was really exciting.”

When it was time for Giggles to be adopted into his forever home, Giggles instinctively knew who to pick.

Anielski narrates, “When they first met it was an instant connection, like they had known each other forever. It was the sweetest thing to watch. He just walked right up to his new mom and started rubbing up on her legs and rolled over and he was just immediately in love with her.”

Giggles now enjoys life with her new loving family and two cat brothers.

And… he now serves as Riggi Rescue’s spokeskitty!

You see, with human companionship and love, the real colors of a kitty (or person or any animal) will shine through, grumpy-looking or not.
