Now, a new study of hundreds of thousands of people compiled by Cedars Sinai Medical Center has identified that the liver may be a prime beneficiary of that daily cup of joe.
The research suggests that regular coffee consumption is associated with reduced risks of liver cancer and the dangerous progression of cirrhosis.
“We are encouraged by these findings,” said a Cedars Sinai researcher.
“They provide one more reason to enjoy that morning coffee with peace of mind.”
