Do you have any “ulti-mutt” advice for traveling with a dog? To honor your pets, Baymont by Wyndham has sponsored a countrywide hunt for the best pup-friendly travel advice.

According to an ASPCA poll, more than 23 million American families got a pet during the pandemic. Many first-time pet owners are now learning how to take their furry pets on their next vacation with them. Fortunately, Baymont is here to make their trip planning a little less “ruff.”

There are several things to consider while arranging a trip, according to David Unger, brand leader and vice president of Operations at Baymont by Wyndham. It might be overwhelming to add a pet to the mix, especially for the first time—but it doesn’t have to be.

This initiative builds on those efforts, helping ensure our guests—the two or four-legged kind—have a great trip, even before they arrive.”

The 10 best recommendations will be featured in Baymont by Wyndham’s upcoming pet-friendly travel planner, which will be released later this year, along with a photo of each winning dog.

Each proud pup’s parents will receive two complimentary nights at a Wyndham Rewards hotel of their choice, as well as a free one-year upgrade to Wyndham Rewards Diamond membership, which includes benefits such as suite upgrades, early check-in, late checkout, free WiFi, rental car upgrades, and more.
