Woman’s loyal pup chases ambulance taking her to hospital [Video]

A golden retriever showed his love for his owner as she was being taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

The loyal pup chased after the ambulance across the streets of Buyukada island, the largest of the Princes’ Islands of Istanbul, Turkey.

According to the Reuters report, the dog’s owner was being treated for her illness in her home while her loyal pup watched over her. First responders eventually decided they needed to take her to a hospital for closer observation.

As they led the patient into the ambulance, her dog continued to watch over her and even wanted to come with her. But despite his desperate plea with his big, puppy eyes, health policies and hygienic safety prevented the medics from allowing him to ride with them.

As they closed the ambulance doors and went their way, they probably thought that the pup would stay at home to wait for his owner’s return.

But the pup was determined to see to his friend’s recovery and ran after the vehicle all the way to the hospital.

There, he continued to wait until his owner recovered and reunited with him.

Dogs are truly man’s best friends, and they have been shown to wait at the hospital for their beloved humans.

Earlier this year, one pup named Boncuk, who is also from Turkey, was spotted pacing outside hospital doors as he waited for his owner, who was being treated for a brain condition.
