Prince Louis turned 8 on April 23rd, and to celebrate, his parents, Prince William and Princess Kate stuck with tradition and shared a new portrait.

The youngest of the Wales children made an appearance on his parents’ official Instagram page today. In a sweet birthday photo, he stands by the sea with a big smile—showing off his missing teeth—and his arms crossed.

Kate and William, who also share Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince George, 12, have made a sweet tradition out of posting new portraits of their children each year. Kate is an avid photographer who loves capturing photos of her family as they grow and explore.
