Attending a Major League Baseball game is always a lot of fun. The postseason brings even more excitement to stadiums packed with fans hoping to take home a win.

Blink-182 frontman Tom DeLonge watched his beloved San Diego Padres take on the Milwaukee Brewers at Petco Park on October 6, 2026. During the NLDS Game 3, something incredible happened. But it wasn’t on the field; this special sports moment happened in the stands.

The speakers began to blare Blink-182’s 1999 smash hit “All the Small Things,” and the crowd began to sing along. Tom DeLonge could hardly keep the tears back as thousands of baseball fans sang along to one of Blink-182’s most famous songs. But when the song got to the famous line, “Work sucks, I know,” Tom sang along.

“What a cool moment here in San Diego. Blink-182, especially for those of us of a certain age, we all know they have an extensive, very impressive catalogue of late ‘90s and 2000s pop-punk music,” an announcer shared. “But to be in the ballpark when 43,000+ are singing one of your biggest hits to you. Can’t imagine the feeling.”

Blink-182 fans fell in love with Tom and the band all over again. “It’s funny to sit there at 50 and appreciate what you did at 25. It’s like being your own parent and being proud of your younger self,” a fan shared.

This person thinks Tom and the band deserve plenty of recognition. “Is only fair that we have to sing for him after all the singing he did for us while we were young,” they wrote.

One fan put it so well. “Man, I feel so lucky to have experienced the 90s.”
