  • John Ritter’s family turns milestone anniversary into life-saving mission
  • Original cast members join new performers to honor laughter and love

Fifty years after three mismatched roommates first charmed audiences, their story is stepping back into the spotlight in the most heartwarming way possible.

The John Ritter Foundation is launching the Come And Knock On Our Door Tour, a multi-city celebration that blends nostalgic performances with a meaningful purpose. The tour will bring classic episodes to the stage, reminding everyone why the show’s laughter still resonates.

“This event is a celebration of John, the joy he brought to all of us through ‘Three’s Company,’ and the community that continues to carry his memory forward,” Amy Yasbeck shared in a news release. “Bringing the show to the stage 50 years later is our way to honor him while helping us continue our mission to save lives through aortic dissection awareness and research.”

The tour opens in New York City with an Evening From The Heart event at Joe’s Pub on November 2, 2026. Joyce DeWitt and Amy Yasbeck will host, while Jason Biggs steps into the role of Jack Tripper and Richard Kline returns as narrator. Additional cities on the schedule include Dallas, Cleveland, and Los Angeles, with performances running through 2027.

“Having been on set during the taping of ‘Three’s Company,’ I got to see John’s extraordinary physical comedy and warmth firsthand. He brought joy to everyone in that room,” Donald Taffner Jr., president of DLT Entertainment, shared. “Bringing these classic scripts back to life on stage is not only a tribute to a show that meant, and continues to mean, so much to millions, but a meaningful way to honor John’s legacy and support lifesaving aortic health research.”

Tickets are available at johnritterfoundation.org, where fans can be part of both the celebration and the important work of the foundation. The tour promises smiles, fond memories, and hope for healthier hearts everywhere.
