  • Miso the Shih-Tzu has been trained by her mom to pick up after herself.
  • One day, her mom asked for her help in cleaning up her toys, and she obliged.
  • But she tried her best to sneakily get more treats while cleaning up.

Kids and pets love their toys. As parents, it can be fun simply watching them play, but cleaning up after them can get tiring. So, parents try their best to teach them how to put their toys away. Sometimes they listen, but sometimes they forget or don’t feel like it.

One Shih-Tzu named Miso was successfully trained by her mom to pick up after herself. Watching this cutie do it is such a mood booster!

Miso has learned how to pick up her toys and give them to her mom.

She has learned to do so in exchange for treats, and she seems to be really in it for the reward. So, she notices it when her mom doesn’t give her a treat for every toy she picks up.

Take a look at her pressing the “treat” button after every toy she gets:

She really said, “1 toy = 1 treat!” One viewer commented, “She’s like, I don’t work for free, honey.”

Miso wants to be paid well for a job well done. When she realizes that her mom does give her a treat whenever she asks for it, she proceeds to sneak in more treats without first getting a toy.

Perhaps she was thinking, “Maybe if I just hit my button like a good girl, she’ll be proud of me and give in!”

She’s too smart!

But when her mom insisted on her getting a toy first, Miso gives up. Not feeling like it, she hits a different button that says, “Mommy.”
