The lockdown protocols in response to the global coronavirus pandemic have sent people working from their homes. This is perhaps not good news for everyone, but this is certainly news that house pets would enjoy, seeing as their time with humans has just been maximized.

Considering recent events, people are learning more and more about the ups and downs that come with the all-day access to their pets. After all, a furry lap warmer during a conference call may bring one comfort, but it could also be distracting.

Victoria Madore from California shared a series of images on the Dogspotting Society Facebook Page that are all too familiar for those who find themselves working from home because of the community lockdown.

The pictures posted, she explains, were made as her father adjusts his new daily routine after he had started working from home, sharing constant space with their two dogs, Emmy and Cotton.

Her father has come up with the idea of office-themed memes to “keep the sanity”. These memes involve himself, the employee, and his new “bosses”, their dogs!

Cotton turned out to be the coworker who ignores personal spaces that are observed within office grounds. It would probably not be just to put the blame on the dog for wanting to spend time with his owner that is usually away during the day.

Emmy, on the other hand, is the Miranda Priestly from “The Devil Wears Prada” in their office, being the boss in their office who is very hard to please.

The first set of office-themed memes brought amusement to others who work from home, but the second sent from the series was definitely worth the wait!

The sense of humor during these times, in the middle of this crisis that forces everybody to adjust their daily routines, goes a long way. Kudos to Victoria’s dad for the effort in incorporating a little bit of fun into everybody’s workday.
