Dog Parents Spent Over $300 for Dog’s Fake Limp [Video]

• It turns out that Bill’s limp was fake — he was only limping to show his support for his dad!

Pets can be the most sympathetic creatures. They seem to detect whenever their humans are struggling, so they try their best to be there for them.

So when Bill’s dad, Russell Jones, broke his ankle in June last year, the loving lurcher wanted to share the burden.

Bill is a very active and playful dog, but this stopped when he saw his dad’s leg on a cast.

Russell’s wife, Michelle, noticed that Bill was also limping beside his dad.

Concerned that Bill also had a problem with his foot, Russell and Michelle took him to the vet. But even after tests and X-rays, the vet found nothing wrong with him.

His parents were surprised, especially since he was clearly limping. Then, they spotted him walking normally (and even running!) when his dad was away.

Bill was only limping whenever he was beside his dad! They figured it was most likely because he was concerned and wanted to show he’s there beside him.

Russell shared a video of Bill limping on a Lurcher Facebook group.

He wrote, “Cost me £300 in vet fees and X-rays. Nothing wrong just sympathy. Love him.”

Bill’s fake limp cost them a lot in vet fees, but thinking about his spectacular acting still makes the couple laugh.

Even after several months, people are still offering advice on how to help Bill with his limping condition!

Russell and Michelle talked about their experience in an interview with ITV‘s “This Morning.”

The whole situation only made Russell and Bill become even closer to each other.
