The ad continued, “Meet Halle (the cat) at our adoption center in Howell. No appointment is necessary but please wear a mask.”

Halle (the actress) shared the post within an hour of its posting!

The humane society’s ad featured two photos of the adorable black-and-white feline who is currently residing at the Livingston County Center for Animal Care.

They also shared a link for more information on Halle (the cat), an 8-year-old domestic shorthair mix who weighs 12 lbs.

The page described her as “a sweet quiet girl looking for a calm home.”

The animal care center noted, “We don’t know if she has a history with children or dogs, so a slow introduction would be best. She has lived with cats in the past and has gotten along with other cats here at the shelter as well. New situations can be scary for her, but once she settles in she loves attention!”

Another “celebrity” cat was adopted back in the summer: Dennis Quaid.
