In the early hours of Wednesday morning, a dramatic rescue unfolded on Route 22 in Bridgewater, New Jersey. A Hyundai Elantra, driven by Peter Della-Ventura, collided with a tanker truck, resulting in both vehicles catching fire.

The crash occurred around 2:00 a.m., and while the tanker’s driver and a passenger from the Hyundai managed to escape, Della-Ventura was left unconscious inside the burning car.

Officer Noah Allatt arrived at the scene and immediately sprang into action. Video footage captured him running toward the blazing vehicles, first checking on the Hyundai’s passenger and the tanker’s driver.

Upon realizing that Della-Ventura was trapped, Officer Allatt quickly moved to the driver’s side of the Hyundai.

Without hesitation, he opened the door and pulled Della-Ventura to safety, dragging him away from the imminent danger of the flames.

Fortunately, both Della-Ventura and his passenger were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
