Mozart is not sure what to make of kisses 😳 Mozzie is one of the sweetest and snuggliest cats I’ve ever rescued. He is obsessed with cuddles. But in the middle of our cuddle session I broke out into aggressive kisses for the first time, and sweet boy was very confused 😅 ♬ Cena Engraçada e Inusitada – HarmonicoHCO

A rescue kitten named Mozart has captured the hearts of many with his hilarious reaction to receiving his first kiss. The moment, shared by his fosterer Grace on TikTok under @kittyboyandfriends, has been viewed over 2.1 million times, leaving viewers in stitches.

In the video, Grace, who is passionate about rescuing and fostering cats, is seen giving a gentle kiss on Mozart’s head during their cuddle time. The little feline, affectionately called Mozzie, initially appears bewildered, his eyes widening in surprise as he processes the unexpected affection.

Despite his initial confusion, Mozart snuggles up to Grace, seemingly appreciative of the gesture. This adorable interaction highlights the sweet bond that can form between humans and their rescued pets.

For those new to fostering or adopting rescue cats, Dr. Julie Hunt offers some valuable advice.

“First, ensure that the travel to your home is as stress-free as possible, this is crucial,” she advises, suggesting the use of feline pheromone spray like Feliway in the carrier to calm the cat during travel.

Dr. Hunt also recommends withholding food for 8 to 12 hours before travel to prevent vomiting. Once home, she suggests initially housing the cat in a single “safe room” to help them acclimate to their new surroundings.

“This allows the cat to adapt without being overwhelmed by a large space or other animals,” she explains. “The cat should have access to hiding places and should never be pulled from them.”

The importance of providing food, water, and a litter box within reach is emphasized, as well as supervising interactions with children and other pets.

If these steps are followed, Dr. Hunt believes that the cat or kitten will likely settle in more comfortably, fostering a stronger bond with their new owner.

Mozart’s amusing reaction to his first kiss serves as a charming reminder of the unique connections that can develop between rescue animals and their humans.

“Mozart is not sure what to make of kisses,” Grace shared. “Mozzie is one of the sweetest and snuggliest cats I’ve ever rescued.”

The video has prompted a flurry of comments from viewers who found Mozart’s reaction both funny and endearing.
