Some of yous in the comments are incredibly rude, it’s honestly embarrassing reading some of these comments. So im going to adress some points below because i cant reply to over 1k comments 1. my dog isnt poor because he gets left on his own, leaving him alone now at this age will help him when hes older when hes on his own as he will be used to it 2. he isnt left for 5 hours regularly, on days i work we see him at lunch for a walk and play. then on days my dad is free he takes Rolo. Like everything theres exceptions to this like having an appointment at lunch or my dad running late 4. he is well trained and well socialised. he goes off lead, comes back when hes called, sits lays down ect and is unreactive in busy situations 5. we are working on poty training him, he goes toilet outside on que however he has massive wees and cant hold it in over night yet so we still have to put a puppy pad down 6. people that work can have dogs along as suitable arrangements are made eg having a dog walker come in or family 7. everyone learns from their mistakes, you have to fail to succeed 8. We have a dog trainer who is helping us teach Rolo to become an assitance dog for me 9. I asked for advice on what others do with their dogs when they leave so thank you for the people that helped the others that hated thank you for blowing my video up! #abcxyz #caine #germanshepard #puppies #fyp

A dog owner in the U.K. recently experienced a whirlwind of chaos after leaving her 5-month-old German shepherd puppy, Rolo, home alone for five hours.

Dora, who shares her adventures on TikTok under the handle dorathexplora02, couldn’t believe her eyes when she returned from work to find her kitchen in shambles.

She and her partner had discussed getting a dog for about a year before Rolo’s online advert caught their attention.

“We never actioned it until Rolo’s advert popped up online,” she said.

“He was listed along with a few other golden shepherd puppies. So we went to view but then ended up coming home with him. The rest is history.”

Rolo quickly became a beloved member of the family, full of energy and curiosity.

“Rolo loves running after balls, eating grass and chewing his yak chew,” Dora said.

“He’s so full of character and is intrigued by everything he loves sniffing and exploring.”

However, this curiosity led to quite the mess during a recent day alone.

Dora had taken Rolo for a 20-minute walk in the morning and left him in the kitchen with his toys and some extra food before heading to work.

Her father checked on Rolo around 2 p.m. and sent Dora a series of photos revealing the extent of the damage.

“He sent me a photo of the kitchen with the lino torn up, the wood and concrete covering the pipes all chewed up, as well as a bit of the wood surrounding the pipes,” Dora said.

“He also completely shredded his puppy pad and had jumped up and chewed the washing sponge.”

Despite the mess, Rolo appeared unfazed, happily enjoying his dinner in the corner of the room.

Fortunately, cleaning up the kitchen was straightforward, and Dora has since taken steps to prevent future incidents.

“I’ve replaced the floor, so it’s like it never happened, and instead started putting him in the bathroom when we leave,” she said.

“He’s got loads of toys, toys with food inside, a couple of my T-shirts, and I leave music on when we leave, and it’s working well so far.”

Dora decided to film the aftermath and share it on social media, which provided her with valuable tips and a good laugh.

“Further down the line, I’ll look back on the video and remember what Rolo did as a puppy, and it’ll be one of those memories you look back on and laugh,” she said.
