• But that plan flew out of the window after the coronavirus outbreak had people spend their days in quarantine.
• Even so, Drew still found a very sweet way to announce the birth of their new family member to the world!

Drew and Brittany Wolf have been always looking forward to having the whole family present to welcome their baby to the world when he comes out. But because of the coronavirus outbreak, that plan flew out of the window.

Not only were they had to be in quarantine but also, Brittany went into labor six weeks earlier than the supposed schedule. Despite the challenges, Drew still found a way to make the announcement more special!

On April 17, Brittany gave birth to their son at Northwestern Medicine Prentice Women’s Hospital. Dew on the other hand, gathered their families outside the window of the hospital.

The moment was captured by a nurse as the proud father used a notebook with scribbled words on them to announce the good news. 

“Coming in at 4 lbs, 13 oz … in honor of … Grammy and Poppy … Please Welcome … BOY … Asher Wyatt Wolfe,” they read. Later on they celebrated further through a Facetime video call. 

“Family is very important to both mom and dad, and Asher is the first grandchild on either side of our family,” Drew told NBC Chicago. “We did not know the gender before birth, and chose not to even share our boy name and girl name with anyone else.”

The name Asher Wyatt—with initial letters “A” and “W”—is in honor to Drew’s late grandmother, Arlene and Brittany’s deceased grandfather, William. This is something that really warmed the hearts of their relatives.

Congratulations to both of you Drew and Brittany! And welcome to the world Asher Wyatt! May you grow into a healthy, loving, and happy kid!
