Quick Smiles:

  • Teen spent summer working hard to buy a bike, unknowingly purchased stolen property.
  • Rightful owner started a fundraiser to help replace the lost dirt bike.
  • Community generosity is helping restore faith in fairness and hard work.

After a summer dedicated to mowing lawns and doing chores, 13-year-old Noah from Kansas finally saved enough to buy a dirt bike, only to learn it was stolen property tied to a Wichita burglary. Despite following all the right steps for a fair deal, he lost both his bike and hard-earned money when the police reclaimed it.

Seeing Noah’s honest effort, original owner Glenn Timoteo organized a GoFundMe to help Noah get the bike he truly deserved and encourage his belief in honesty and hard work.

“He had no way of knowing. He did everything right, following the steps his dad taught him about making a fair deal,” Timoteo shared. “Noah had done nothing wrong, yet he lost both the bike and the money he worked so hard to earn.”

Donations have now reached $3,275, more than half the amount needed for Noah’s new ride, with people uniting to give back to a deserving young man.

This heartfelt response reminds us that kindness and generosity help keep the spirit of community alive.
