The internet is buzzing with laughter once again as a video from 2020 featuring an Australian shepherd puppy named Steve has resurfaced.

During a car ride back to Colorado, Meghan noticed something peculiar about Steve. He was lying on the floor of the car and hadn’t moved for hours.

Concerned, she thought, “I’m going to have to turn this car around and get a refund because something’s wrong with this dog.”

However, the truth turned out to be far less alarming and far more amusing.

Meghan explained, “So I had to use this life jacket for Steve because he was too small to fit in his harness, and it’s like this really strong Velcro.”

As it turns out, the strong Velcro on the life jacket had stuck Steve to the car floor.

“Yeah. I soon realized that he was Velcroed to the floor,” she said.

The video shows the tiny Australian shepherd lying calmly, completely unaware of why he couldn’t move.

The clip has since garnered over 7 million views and continues to entertain thousands with its recent repost.

Australian shepherds, commonly known as “Aussies,” are medium-sized herding dogs celebrated for their intelligence and boundless energy. Despite their name, the breed was developed in the U.S. for herding livestock.

Given their high-energy nature, it’s no wonder Meghan was baffled by Steve’s unusual calmness.

Thankfully, Steve was perfectly fine after the incident, which has continued to bring joy to many.
