Chubby Husky Howls Out “Nooo” When Asked to go For A Walk [Video]

• Kodiak is one lazy husky who hates going on walks.
• Because of this, he has packed on some added weight that he needed to lose to stay healthy.
• When his mom cheerfully asked him to go for a walk, he protested by loudly howling out “Nooooo!”

Say hello to Kodiak. He’s one lazy husky who likes to stay indoors.

Apparently, he would do anything to avoid going on his daily walks. So now he has packed on some added weight.

But he still doesn’t realize how big he has gotten–he already weighs 82 pounds!

Kodiak’s mom, Jamie Naab, told The Dodo, “Kodiak doesn’t quite realize his size and will fall off of furniture, pummel down the stairs and lets the momentum of his weight carry him clumsily across the home.”

And when the vet said he had to lose a little weight to stay healthy, Kodiak took it as the worst news. He’d prefer to just relax in bed.

He’s quite the opposite of his energetic sister, Shelby Blu.

Jamie shared, “It has been an increasingly harder struggle to motivate Kodiak to walk with us. While Shelby Blu enthusiastically runs to the door for walk time, Kodiak runs to his bedroom and avoids eye contact.” 

One day, Jamie yelled ‘Who wants to go for a walk?’ as enthusiastically as she could to try to excite both pups.

But Kodiak just “ran into his room while Shelby eagerly raced downstairs ready to explore the neighborhood,” said Jamie.

He then decided that he had to tell his parents exactly how he felt about his new exercise regimen.

Jamie shared, “Kodiak slowly sulked out of his bedroom and started to protest at the top of the stairs. That’s when I immediately got my phone and started recording because I have never heard him howl like that! [He was being] so dramatic to throw his head back and stomp his feet and cry out, ‘Noooooo!’”

What a childish tantrum! The disappointed Kodiak had to give in, in the end.

The lazy husky did not and still does not enjoy his daily walks, but at least he has now lost 3 pounds! Good job!
