Dwayne Johnson Surprises A Family With A Puppy After ‘DC League of Super Pets’ Screening

• The screening of the DC League of Super Pets became the venue for an adoption of a rescued pup.
• It was a surprise by the Hernandez couple for their children who have been wanting to have a dog.
• Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson presented the pup in his Krypto costume which turned out to be a double surprise for the children.

The Hernandez family children were certainly not expecting to bring home a pup after watching the special screening of DC League of Super Pets, and not from the star of the animated movie, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

But it is something that “The Rock” enjoys doing as he wrote on Instagram, “I LOVE surprising audiences of our @sevenbucksprod films, but this #DCSuperPets screening surprise was special.”

Johnson continued, “I dressed up as my character, KRYPTO, and surprised two audiences here at @cinemark in LA. Best part was finding a loving home with the Hernandez family for my lil’ guy, Quail. An incredible night all in the spirit of celebrating PETS.”

The Hernandez kids have been wishing to have a dog for a long time. Little did they know that their parents had already searched for an adoptable dog from the Best Friends Animal Society and partnered with Warner Bros. Pictures to spring the surprise on them after the screening with the special participation of “The Rock”.  

Imagine the children’s expressions when Johnson, in his Krypto costume, came out and handed over the cute pup Quail to his new family.

What a wonderful fulfillment of a wish it is for the kids. We wish Quail and the Hernandez family many years of love and fun.
