A girls’ night in is a cherished tradition, brimming with laughter, bonding, and a touch of pampering. It seems this delightful ritual is not just for humans, as April Dirteater’s dachshund, Lola, proved when she decided to join the fun.

A video capturing this charming moment has captured the attention of TikTok users, spreading joy and smiles across the platform.

April Dirteater, Lola’s owner for the past four years, was spending a delightful evening with her younger sisters, Amber and Autumn Roby (10 and five years old), when Lola decided she didn’t want to miss out on the festivities.

Dirteater shared, “We were kicking off girls’ night with Amber reading Autumn a book while I curl my hair. Then, we curl our hair, do manicures, pedicures, and facials.”

The viral video, which has since amassed over 4.9 million views and 909,000 likes since its March 24 posting, shows Lola sitting on her hind legs next to the sisters, attentively listening as Amber reads a book.

“Lola came in to the room on her own—she likes to sit on two feet when she wants her belly rubbed. She loves story time, but she was really wanting the girls to rub her belly,” Dirteater explained.

Hailing from Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Dirteater added, “She loves it when my siblings come over. She will follow them around and be included however she can.”

After enjoying the first part of the evening, Lola decided to stick around for the rest of the pampering session. It seems this isn’t Lola’s first brush with beauty rituals.
