Husband Learns How to Style Wife’s Hair After Her Stroke [Video]

• When Theresa suffered a stroke 18 years ago, it left her with limited mobility.
• When she came from a salon appointment back in 2018, she was disappointed that she could not replicate the look that she loved.
• So her husband, Andrew, took her back to the salon and asked the stylist to teach him how to style her hair the way she likes.

Andrew and Theresa has been married for several years, during which they always looked out for each other.

After Theresa suffered a debilitating stroke 18 years ago, Andrew kept true to his wedding vows and helped her with anything she needed.

He even learned how to style her hair!

In 2018, their children gifted Theresa a gift certificate to The Foundry Salon in New Braunfels for Mother’s Day.

She absolutely loved her new look when she came home! But her limited mobility hindered her from replicating the look the next day.

So, her husband took her back to the salon, and asked the stylist to teach him how to replicate it.

Stylist Andrea Gomez was happy to show him, and Andrew closely followed the steps from start to finish.

He paid close attention to what Andrea was doing, asked questions, and learned everything that he needed to help his wife. He learned how to choose hair products, hold a brush, and use a blow dryer.

The touching scene was recorded by Andrea’s fellow stylist, Raigen Kelley, who shared it on Facebook.

Raigen wrote, “Proof that true love really exists. … Truly one of the best things I have been able to witness in my life. Brought tears to my eyes. What an amazing man and what a lucky woman.”

Their story touched thousands of people all over the world. The loving couple were surprised by all the attention, but they welcomed it to be an inspiration to others.

Andrew advised, “This type of story may help some people, may get to them and touch them in a way that they just need to work a little harder with their relationships. You gotta just make things happen, instead of just giving up.”

Styling one’s hair may seem like a simple task, but it meant the world to Theresa. Their love for each other is surely an example of lasting true love.
