  • A Siberian Husky who’s been in the dog park for almost two hours refused to get in his owner’s car and go home.
  • The dog would run in the opposite direction every time his owner called him.
  • The dog dad succeeded in bringing the dog into the car after bribing him with treats.

Archer the Siberian husky already spent two hours at the dog park, but he shows no interest in going home just yet.

In a Tiktok video posted by Archer’s owner, which now has 1.7 million likes, you can see Archer’s dad and his other husky, Leia, already near the parking lot and ready to leave. However, Archer, whose owner dubs him a “con artist,” is still nowhere near the parking lot, and shows no interest in going home.

For the record, we were at the dog park for nearly two hours before I told him it was time to go home. 🐺😩🤷🏻‍♂️😅 #siberianhusky #siberianhuskies #husky #siberianderpskies #huskiesoftiktok #dogsofttiktok #huskies ♬ original sound – Siberian Derpskies

At the beginning of the video, you can see Archer’s owner calling out to him. Archer responds by jogging off in the opposite direction, seemingly distracted by other dogs.

Archer’s owner tries another strategy, pretending to leave Archer as he tells Leia, “We’re leaving your brother. The dog park has him now.” Leia obediently follows her owner and jogs towards the parking lot. The dad goes on to tell Leia that Archer is out of the family for his insubordination.

The next scene shows Leia inside the car and the dog dad describing her as “a good husky who listens.” He then pans the camera to the still-free dog. ‘Archer’, he says.

Leaving Leia in the car, the dog dad returns to the park to get Archer, who jogs away after seeing his approaching owner. ‘Are you serious?’ was all Archer’s owner could say.

Finally, Archer is seen inside the car, munching on a treat in his dad’s hands. Leia was also given treats because “Leia listens for sure”. Once in the car, Archer seemed well-behaved.

Replying to one commenter, Archer’s owner said, “This is classic Archer—he knew exactly what I wanted from him, he just didn’t care.”

At the end of the video, the dog dad told the two huskies, “You’re monsters in your own way. I love you both.”
