Have you ever seen a dog disguised as another breed? One Labrador wore a disguise to qualify as a Dalmatian in a meet-up, and the result got a bunch of laughs online.

Jodie Smith was taking her Dalmatian, Mabel, to a Dalmatian meet-up. But she also wanted to bring her golden Labrador, Wilson, along.

She didn’t want Wilson to feel left out or out of place, so she thought of a clever way to sneak him in.

Jodie had Wilson wear a white vest with hand-drawn spots!

The video has since been viewed over 5 million times and liked over 860,000 times. Viewers can’t get enough of “Dalmatian” Wilson!

“I burst out laughing when I spotted the vest on him,” one viewer said, while another called it “the cutest thing.”

Several viewers played along. One comment read, “That’s a Dalmatian, he just hasn’t grown into his spots yet!!” Another wrote, “I kept waiting to see the Lab, never saw it….”

One viewer came up with the term “dalmabrador,” while another respected Wilson’s identity: “Born a lab, but identifies as a Dalmatian. It’s cool.”

Some viewers were reminded of the 2000 Disney film 102 Dalmatians. Wilson reminded them of Oddball, the only Dalmatian in the film who had no spots.

One viewer wrote, “Aw, just like Oddball from 102 Dalmatians,” while another commented, “Oddball got her spots!”

Dalmatians and Labrador Retrievers are among the most popular dog breeds. The American Kennel Club lists the Lab as the most popular dog breed, while the Dalmatian is at the 56th spot out of 202.

Labradors easily get along with most breeds due to their friendly and outgoing nature. The high-spirited Labs also goes along well with the loyal Dalmatians.

Dog meet-ups have become a popular way to socialize dogs from a similar breed.

The site Meetup.com helps match owners with local pet get-togethers. According to the site, joining a doggy day trip can help fellow pet owners meet up in their area. It can also improve pets’ health through socializing, exploring new places, and boosting exercise levels.
