Savannah Guthrie Opens Up About Family Challenge Before Returning to Today

Savannah Guthrie recently opened up to Hoda Kotb in a deeply personal three-part interview following the disappearance of her mother, Nancy. The TODAY co-anchor shared her family’s journey and her hopes as she prepares to step back into the studio.
After spending several weeks in Arizona focusing on her family and the ongoing investigation, Savannah announced she will return to her morning news desk on April 6. She expressed gratitude for the support she has received while reflecting on the challenges of returning to a role defined by joy.
“I don’t know if I can do it. I don’t know if I’ll belong anymore, but I would like to try. I would like to try.”
