As people around the world are being forced to stay indoors for a long period of time, most of our regular routines have been disrupted.
Apparently, pets are affected too!
Take for example this cat named Mylee.
Mylee has been so used to having the house to herself most of the day when her family members are all at work or just out and about.
Now, it seems that she has very much enjoyed having free rein of their house — that having the whole family at home all the time has somewhat annoyed her.
And she’s just had enough of it. So she decided to let her feelings known:
Mylee’s frustration is of course understood by her owners, Rae Jordan and her family. Having some quality “me” time is surely important.
And having everyone suddenly crowded at home at all times is something new — not just for the solitude-loving cat, but for the whole family.
Rae told The Dodo, “I feel like everyone’s feeling that way being locked up at home!”
But then again, Mylee is slowly discovering that while she does have to give up her alone time, everyone else has more time to shower her with love and affection!
“She’s definitely grown accustomed to it,” Rae shared. “She’s particularly snuggly with my mom while she’s working from home.”
And as we’re all slowly adjusting to this new normal, perhaps Mylee can get used to it as well.
