The TikTok world is abuzz over a woman who got her dogs back after her ex put the dogs up for adoption after they split up.  He was not content with dumping her for another, he even gave the dogs up!

The backstory is that they have two dogs.  The guy paid for one and the woman paid for the other.  When they decided to break up, the woman gave the other up to the guy so that they would not be separated.  But she soon learned that the guy put the dogs up for adoption after getting a new dog with his new girlfriend.

Thus the TikTok user @chels.may21’s post on TikTok.

Let their story be a lesson for all that when you decide to have dogs as a couple, please have an agreement on the custody of the dogs and a provision to not put them up for adoption.  Dogs or any animal you bring into your relationship, are living beings.  They have feelings.  They are family. You cannot just give them up for adoption when you split up.
