Meet Belle, an adorable mix of doberman and cattlehound who was diagnosed with a birth defect that makes her look permanently surprised.

Belle’s muscles in her head stretched back, making her look wide-eyed and surprised at all times.

IN 2017, Lieschen O’Connor adopted sweet Belle from Lawrence Humane Society, an organization that provides care for homeless and abused animals.

According to Lieschen, Belle’s condition doesn’t cause her any pain but because they often get dry, she needs to apply eye drops regularly.

Belle’s unique look has won her over nearly 200,000 followers on TikTok.

Lieschen said Belle is “gentle with other animals and great with kids.”

She added: ‘Belle is extremely sweet and a little goofy. If dogs could laugh, Belle would definitely laugh a lot! 

‘If people meet her in person, they usually comment that she is beautiful and has an expressive face. ‘People online tend to either think Belle is the cutest pup ever.’
