Their return was postponed, and the SpaceX Crew 9 capsule, which has been docked at the ISS since September, was designated as their new ride home.

However, their journey back couldn’t commence until the arrival of Crew 10, which recently launched from Kennedy Space Center aboard a Falcon 9 rocket.

During their prolonged mission, Wilmore and Williams became integral members of the ISS crew, contributing to the daily operations and scientific endeavors aboard the station.
