Balu The Dog Lovingly Babysits His Cat Sister’s Kittens [Video]

  • Babies bring out the protective instincts of both males and females of any species.
  • A viral TikTok video shows Balu the dog babysitting a litter of kittens while the mama cat watches.
  • The first video shows a dog laying a blanket on the kittens while the second video shows a grooming session for the kittens.

Balu the dachshund is male but from the video on TikTok, you will see that he does not care about the difference in species and stereotypes.

There is something about babies that breaks down barriers, melts hearts and awakens protective instincts.  In this case, a mama cat and her litter of kittens have captured Balu’s heart and he is taking his job seriously as a nanny.

With “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” in Spanish as the audio background, user @julietgonzales1’s six-second video shows Balu going near a mama cat and her kittens and gently laying the blanket over the bodies of the crew and over their heads.

The mama cat does not seem to mind the display of affection and allows Balu to shower her brood with his care.

But wait, the short video is just part 1 of the Balu the nanny series and it has already racked up 2 million views and almost 89,000 likes after it was posted.

Part 2 shows Balu grooming the same litter with the mama cat watching keenly.

The video is captioned “Babysitter Balu” and the Spanish text reads, “For all those who want to follow the story of our babies with their uncle Balu, here we leave you a little more.”

Will there be Part 4 to watch out for?

Meanwhile, you are doing a great job, Balu! Keep it up!
