  • Hannah shared a picture of her positive pregnancy test with her boyfriend.
  • Her boyfriend was horrified and told her they would have to isolate for ten days.
  • It turns out he thought that the positive test was for COVID-19!

News of a positive pregnancy test shook a man who had mistaken it for a positive test for COVID-19. A video of the hilarious exchange has since been viewed over 25 million times on TikTok.

Hannah Alexis Grace shared the screenshots of her conversation with her boyfriend, along with the caption, “Here’s how telling my boyfriend I’m pregnant went.”

The video starts with her telling her boyfriend Charlie that she now knows why she feels sick. She then sends him a photo of her positive pregnancy test.

Charlie asks her if she’s joking, and when she replies that she’s not, he starts muttering a few curse words to express his horror.

He then asks her if she has informed anyone, to which she mentions two of her friends.

At this point, Hannah tells him that she’s panicking, perhaps since he seems terrified about the supposedly good news.

Charlie’s reaction soon becomes clear when he tells Hannah not to panic, adding that they’ll just “have to isolate for 10 days.”

What’s even funnier is that Charlie asked if Hannah’s mom “has it” as well.

It soon dawned on Hannah that there’s been a misunderstanding.

When she clarifies that the picture means she’s pregnant, Charlie finally types out a more appropriate response: “Omg.”

The exchange elicited a lot of laughs from TikTok users.

One comment read, “Not him thinking it’s a COVID test,” while another imagined that Charlie might have passed out after typing out “omg.”

Others joked that they may need a lot longer than 10 days to isolate.

Meanwhile, a few people wondered why Hannah would relay such news via text, and why she told two other people before him.

Hannah responded, “I am carrying and growing this baby for 9 months, I will tell him how I want. If it was different circumstances that would have been told face to face. It was something that was completely unexpected and scary, so I text him.”

Another TikTok user defended her and told others to mind their own business, before offering congratulations to the couple.

The expectant mom has since shared a follow-up video, which features an ultrasound of her baby.
